Like many of his peers Tony's career started with racing yachts and his designs have won multiple International events and no less than 5 World championships as well as the Admiral’s Cup, Superyacht Cup and experience with the America’s Cup.

Tony Castro superyachts have won numerous industry awards for design excellence and his client list looks like a who’s who of international acclaim: Builders such as Royal Huisman, Jongert, Oceanco, Jeanneau, Galeon and many more.

Tony Castro has enjoyed enormous success with production sail and powerboats with some 10,000+ yachts to his designs afloat today, including the popular SB20 (formerly known as the Laser SB3) at one end of the scale and the 65m, square rigged ship “Tenacious” at the other.

In addition to his proven expertise as a naval architect Tony Castro has an eye for style, understands modern composite materials and the need for value engineering. He has one of the very few design offices in the world capable of offering a complete design service including the Naval Architecture, Exterior Styling and Interior Design.
