Project REV, Vard Holdings

At 183-metres, this supersized oceangraphic vessel built for ocean conservation is the perfect bridge between the world of ocean research and that of the yachting community. One of the most anticipated projects across the maritime sector, REV has become a milestone project both for H2 Yacht Design and the yachting industry as a whole. Norwegian yard Vard Holdings has announced it will now be ready for completion in 2024. This imposing, and equally impressive vessel will be 0.99 metres longer than Azzam, the world’s largest superyacht. Although it will not be considered as a fully-fledged superyacht, the vessel has been developed in collaboration with leading superyacht designer Espen Øino with interior concept development and realization by the H2 Yacht Design studio. We can expect a reflection of its purpose throughout the design, a sustainability edge to its approach, and a jaw dropping interior to match its iconic ocean mission.

Project Tala, Turquoise Yachts

The 52.5-metre project Tala is not the first Turquoise yacht in the H2 portfolio. Having completed Go and Razan, this style spectacle will be equally as impressive. Due to be delivered to her owner in 2022, the progress has been vast, with the hull and superstructure completed and the interior work now in motion. With the exterior stylist De Basto Designs responsible for Tala's feminine form, H2 Yacht Design will be responsible for the interior design across nine staterooms, including an owner’s suite and VIP located forward of the main deck. Other notable features onboard are her swim platform, spacious exterior deck areas and sun deck with a hot tub, sun-pads, TV, bar and BBQ. The interior of Tala is set to showcase the stylish and diverse approach of H2, described as; "[A] rich traditional style with a colourful combination of classic details, burl veneers, marble flooring, and lavishly embellished gold highlights." With H2 priding themselves in not having a “house style” that is replicated for each client, Tala will reflect this visionary approach to tailoring the living space to the clients opulent requirements.

Bilgin 263, Bilgin Yachts II

The Bilgin 263 series is another Turkish build and, alongside her sister ship will be the largest yacht to be built in Turkey to date. Beside this milestone, H2 Yacht Design has been responsible for its interior space, while the exterior design and engineering to Unique Yacht Design. Not only does the vessel at 80-metres reflect another super sized project in the H2 Yacht Design portfolio, it also sets the bar for Turkey’s growing high-end yacht sector. Her size, slim outlook, fuel efficiency and comfort makes her a leader in both creativity and execution (with a surprising amount of luxury space for each guest under her sleek shape). With sustainability a dominant theme in what makes a vessel today modern, cutting-edge and future-proof, her 2022 delivery will showcase another stylish milestone in the H2 portfolio. As of today, 75 percent of hull number one’s steel hull has been completed and the construction of its aluminium superstructure has begun, whilst 50 percent of hull number two’s hull has also achieved completion.

Crescent 164, Crescent Bay

Shipyard Crescent Custom Yachts is responsible for the exceptional 50-metre motor yacht that will be named Danzante Bay. Due to be delivered in 2021, once delivered she will be the largest recreational motor yacht to be built in Canada, with the H2 Yacht Design touch. With exterior styling by Gregory Marshall, the all-GRP superyacht has a volume of 499 GT and was constructed at Christensen Shipyard who are also responsible for the vessel’s naval architecture. The Interior which H2 Yacht Design is responsible for will accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms and will showcase once again the diverse and visionary approach of the studio- no matter the size.
