This innovative 34-metre tri-deck explorer, Lady Lene, combines a spirit of adventure with superyacht standards of comfort.
This 34m explorer motor yacht was set up with elegance at the core of its design, as she heavily features marble, leather and suede. Commissioned by a repeat Van der Valk client, she was designed with giant windows that allow for extraordinary panoramic views by Guido de Groot Yacht, Diana Yacht Design and Ginton Naval Architects. The wave-piercing bow not only aids the panoramic views on offer but also increases performance and helps with fuel saving. Up to 10 guests can enjoy the stylish nature of the fleet, with accessibility for those with mobility issues as Lady Lene includes an elevator that allows access to all decks. Her accommodation includes a VIP stateroom on the bridge deck, a balcony and an aft terrace. The yacht’s interior spaces are characterised by high ceilings and plenty of natural light. She is also fitted with twin SeaKeeper gyro stabilisers and a Humphree electric fin stabilising system for maximum comfort at sea. To ensure the sleek and slim profile her designers included features like the black line extending from the bow to the dining room windows before dividing at the bulwark to head aft. This contrasts beautifully with her neurtral colour scheme with touches of grey and white throughout. They also created a darker ceiling where the TV domes and mast are located. Her explorer capabilities are backed-up by her performance-enhancing Hull Vane appendage. She can cruise comfortably at 14 knots and can achieve a top speed of 18 knots as she finds the perfect balance between exploration and travelling in style. She is powered by two MAN 1650hp engines and equipped with a fast-displacement round bilge hull.
