Assouline to Launch “The Impossible Collection of Cars”

New York-based luxury publishing house Assouline are set to launch a lavish, limited-edition book featuring 100 of the most exceptional cars of the twentieth century

Titled “The Impossible Collection of Cars “, the stunning coffee table book includes more than 100 illustrations of beautifully designed automobiles, including a 1909 Blitzen Benz, a 1914 Model T, a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, a 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo S and a 1999 Lotus Elisa.

This 170-page book is presented on cotton paper in a black rubber clamshell presentation box with a cut-out metal plate and comes with a complimentary Assouline canvas tote bag.

The Impossible Collection of Cars will officially launch next month, but is available for pre-order via Assouline’s website, priced at $650 (£410).

Founded by Martine & Prosper Assouline in Paris in 1994, Assouline has grown to become one of the world’s pre-eminent publishers of luxury editions and illustrated books dedicated to photography, fashion,art and design.
