The Moda Mall is a 240 metre tall building, composing of two fifty floor twin towers that resemble to huge sails. The new boutique uses architecture and design to fit the brand, using glass, leather and wood which help bring a feeling of pure luxury inside a truly awe inspiring structure.
The Royal Oak Offshore Grand Prix Collection is being showcased, drawing in new customers by a chequered aluminium pediment reminiscent of the famous “grande tapisserie” dial motif. The boutique offers a contemporary and luxurious lounge area, screens showing the latest 3D animation and a warm and welcoming interior with art and glass displays with their stunning portfolio of watches inside.
“Even though our distribution network is particularly well developed in the Middle East, we must constantly improve our visibility. This new point of sale – which reflects our fundamental brand values of Tradition, Daring and Excellence – is the third in this region, and we are planning to open a fourth in Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia. We have the immense privilege of sharing this moment with our three ambassadors, currently engaged in the first race in the 2010 Formula 1 motor-racing championship,” said Mr. Philippe Merk, CEO of Audemars Piguet.
The watches, inspired by the world of competitive motor racing, display the mix of colour and a soft, diffused metal casing fitting in with the state-of-the-art feel of motor racing and utilising the sheer style and pedigree of Audemars Piguet.
