Compass Tenders Completes 10.3m Limousine Tender for JESTER and INFINITE JEST

By Frances Flannagan

Compass Tenders has announced that a 10.3m limousine tender has been completed for 68.9m JESTER, the support vessel to Turquoise Yachts’ 74.9m INFINITE JEST. She boasts beautiful aesthetics and an impressive performance, able to reach top speeds of 38 knots whilst being equipped with an array of unmatched features, including a sliding glass roof system.

Compass Tenders’ latest custom limousine tender has been built to primarily serve JESTER; however, she is able to be accommodated on both this support vessel as well as INFINITE JEST.

‘The brief was for a luxury limousine that could serve dual purposes – a smart and sophisticated tender with a solid performance. The support yacht, Jester, was originally launched in 1972 and in refit at Pendennis Shipyard in the UK. The new-build, Infinite Jest, was already nearing completion at Turquoise Yachts when the Owner’s team turned to us for a tender solution,’ commented Richard Faulkner, Founder and CEO, Compass Tenders.

Patrick Banfield is responsible for the naval architecture of Compass’ Latitude series of limousine options, whilst the builder’s in-house team oversees the exterior design and styling.

The 10.3m tender’s window shapes and shearline were customised to achieve an aesthetic that is reflective of the mothership, whilst she is fitted with an array of standout features that are a result of the company’s 17 years of experience.

She boasts a sliding glass roof system, custom handrails and an air-conditioned cabin space. Ambient lighting and leather detailing contribute to the overall atmosphere onboard: one which is sleek, light and minimalist.

The tender can be boarded at either the bow or via the aft boarding steps. She has a stowed height of 2m, a draft of 0.55m and an impressive top speed of 38 knots. 16 passengers and two crew members are able to be seated on board.

Richard concluded: ‘Working closely with all parties, we adapted the design of our semi-custom Latitude model to suit client requirements and completed the build in just 15 months.’

This 10.3m limousine tender is a spectacular reflection of Compass Tender’s dedication and expertise: consistently crafting vessels that boast unmatched performance and aesthetics whilst beautifully reflecting their motherships.
