Elon Musk’s Los Angeles Home: Yours for $4.5 Million
It would be easy to imagine that the home of Elon Musk would be pretty well equipped with high-tech accessories – and now you can find out for yourself after the iconic technology entrepreneur put his sprawling Los Angeles home on the market.
On sale for a cool $4.5 million, the residence, which was purchased by Musk and his ex-wife Talulah Riley back in 2014, is spread over 3000 square foot and is billed as fusing innovative technology with avant-garde architecture.
Designed in an unusual triangular pattern to optimise the use of space, the mid-century home features floor-to-ceiling windows, a saltwater pool and spa and offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the city.
In the sleek kitchen there are high-spec Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances and a counter space for entertainment, while the bedroom on the second floor opens to a bright porch and has a large walk-in closet.
Other features include integrated security, audio, lighting systems, and automated curtains – all of which are controllable through a mobile device.
There are several eco-friendly amenities, too, such as a dual tankless hot water system, a dual-zone climate control system and an irrigated drought-tolerant landscaping.
The lavish residence also boasts large privacy hedges to create a sense of isolation and to let in as much natural light as possible.
The home is currently listed with luxury brokerage Hilton & Hyland.
