Franck Muller Reveals New Timepiece for 30th Anniversary

Geneva watch manufacturer Franck Muller has revealed a new, limited edition timepiece in celebration of its 30th anniversary. The 'Crazy Hours Limited Edition' piece will sit within the brand's iconic 'Crazy Hours' collection.

Combining several iconic Muller symbols, including its recognised ‘colour dreams’ numerals, hologram numbers, and the distinctive Crazy Hours complication, the Crazy Hours Limited Edition timepiece is impressively unique.

Featuring the recognised silhouette of the brand’s curved Cintree Curvex case, the Crazy Hours 30th anniversary timepiece is set to evoke feelings for the owner through its, ‘clever and complex’ mechanism and lavish dial. Two versions showcase the 18k rose gold case, whilst the remaining two are in silver.

The Crazy Hours collection is the most emblematic compilation of Franck Muller timepieces. With unconventional numerals adorning their decorative dials, the Crazy Hours watches offer an impressive mechanical movement that allows for easy reading with an hour hand that amazingly jumps from one hour to the next in the correct order. The minute hand follows the conventional 60-minute process.

For the 30th anniversary edition, the limited edition timepieces showcase a redesigned dial where each hour numeral is off centred: creating a timepiece of wearable art. The number 30, for 30 years of watchmaking, takes centre-stage, decorated with 20 hand-set brilliant-cut diamonds.

The Crazy Hours Limited Edition is available in four different versions: royal blue, deep burgundy and the hand-painted colour dreams numbers with white, and comes in three different sizes: 5850, 7880 and 8880. This eye-catching timepiece is also water-resistant up to 30m.
