Lexus Unveils 65-Foot Yacht

Lexus, the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota, has added a stunning new luxury yacht to its diversified portfolio.

Called the Lexus LY 650 yacht, the 65-foot luxury vessel is based on the Lexus Sport Yacht Concept that was first seen in 2017 and features the brand’s recognisable “L-finesse design”.

Billed as offering “exquisite” attention to detail and “superb cruising performance”, the yacht was created in collaboration with an Italian yacht design studio called Nuvolari Lenard over two-and-a-half years of development.

The yacht has a coupe-like design and has a two-tone finish available as an optional extra. There’s a luxury salon and three berths with more than two metres of headroom and en-suite facilities.  It can accommodate up to 15 people and sleep six.

The interior is packed with high-end features, including surround-sound audio systems, air conditioning, bespoke furnishings, real wood trim, and a fully-equipped aft galley.

For optimum performance, the vessel has been made as light as possible, with extensive use of carbon fibre composite materials.

Other notable features include a LY-Link system that offers advanced connectivity for boating and shares information and provides control of various yacht functions.

The Lexus LY 650 has a starting price of around $3.7 million and will go on sale in the US from late October.
