London’s Dover Street Market Celebrates 10th Birthday
Dover Street Market, one of London’s most prestigious shopping spots, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and is marking the occasion with a complete section redesign.
Over the past decade the influential fashion concept store has created relationships with fashion’s biggest names, enjoying collaborations with such renowned brands as Supreme, Chanel and Junya Watanabe.
The multi-level store in Mayfair reopened on Monday boasting entirey redesigned sections for its brands, alongside a new Nike floor and a pop-up space for Good Design Shop in collaboration with D & DEPT.
A number of distinguished designers including Sacai, Rick Owens and Bianca Chandon have also created exclusive celebratory pieces to mark the 10 year anniversary.
Among them are Pharrell’s “GIRL” fragrance by Comme des Garcons and a Rei Kawakubo-designed installation.
Dover Street Market was created in 2004 by Rei Kawakubo of Japanese fashion label Comme des Garçons.
