An exclusive, members-only beach club has opened in the United Arab Emirates, located on an island 500 metres off the coast of Abu Dhabi.

Set on a stunning beach on Saadiyat Island, the Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat is designed to celebrate fine living, culture, wellbeing and health, and offers members a range of exclusive services.

The club is operated by Monte-Carlo SBM, owner of several hotels and clubs in the French principality of Monaco. The Abu Dhabi property is the group’s first opening outside of Monaco.

Facilities and amenities at the club include Le Deck, an all-day dining restaurant, Bubbles Bar, the Library Lounge, the Sea Lounge, a fully-equipped gymnasium and studio, Kids’ Club, spa treatment rooms, jacuzzi, plunge pool and steam rooms.

Patrick Nayrolles, General Manager of the Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat said: “We are proud to launch this concept on Saadiyat, in an area of outstanding natural beauty which is set to become one of the most vibrant and exciting places in the world.

“The Monte Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat is something that will be enjoyed by Abu Dhabi’s elite and high society. The combination of luxury, world-class leisure facilities and the breathtaking natural environment is something that cannot be experienced in any other beach club in the region.”

Members can join the club for an annual fee, whilst non-members are permitted to use the beach and pool area for a daily or weekend entrance charge.

Monte-Carlo SBM was founded in 1863 and created the original Monte-Carlo Beach Club in Monaco in the 1920s.
