Revolutionising the 60-Foot Market: Wider Launches its First WiLder 60

The WiLder 60 is the pinnacle of boating brilliance, penned by Wider Centro Stile, the in-house design team. She is characterised by a stunning hull married to the exceptional exterior spaces and beautiful interior styling. 

The first hull is a testament to Wider’s commitment to excellence and the incredible nature of its new WiLder brand. Marcello Maggi, one of the Founders of W-Fin Sarl, the holding company that owns the entirety of Wider’s equity, commented: ‘The launch of the first WiLder 60 in Fano is not just a milestone for Wider and for the WiLder brand, but also represents a leap forward in what a 60-footer can offer and how it can be built. Everything about the WiLder 60 is extraordinary, from her 40 knot performance to her totally custom layout and finish.’ 

The first WiLder 60 features a custom layout and finishes that have been completed to the Owner’s exact specifications, emphasising the freedom that Owners have when it comes to her design. She has a performance hull, whilst featuring two twin guest suites plus a forward Owner’s cabin that boasts a starboard-side ensuite. 

Between the two cabins, you can find a saloon complete with designer galley cabinet and a comfortable relaxation area with a sofa and television, showcasing her to be a model that offers spectacular relaxation options for those on board. 

The interior touches exude luxury and opulence, with a range of leathers, marbles, impeccably-conceived lighting and beautiful gloss finishes used throughout. These highlight the Italian yard’s extensive experience of building some of the finest superyachts: boasting meticulous design elements that do not compromise overall performance. 

The WiLder 60’s ‘wild-side’ is made clear up top, which features a forward party deck, starboard helm, and an aft social deck that boasts sunpads and an alfresco dining area. The incredible performance of the boat can be enjoyed from here, able to achieve a maximum speed of 40 knots with a cruising speed of 35 knots. Her 325 nm range ensures that her Owner and guests can unleash their wild sides, experiencing the water to the maximum, something which Maggi has commented on: ‘The WiLder 60 is a seductress for those owners who want to experience the very best in everything - design, quality, and wild fun on the water.’ 

The launch of the first WiLder 60 marks the second significant milestone of 2024 for the shipyard, following the launch of the WiderCat92: Wider’s first multihull. These two striking additions to the fleet highlight the exceptional talent of the Italian yard’s engineering and design, as well as emphasising its continuing growth into all areas of the bespoke yacht market. 

There are currently two more bespoke WiLder 60s in build at Wider’s Superyacht Hub in Venice, showing how this model is already set to be highly popular within the 60 foot market.
