South Kensington Club: Exclusive Health & Wellness Club Opens in West London

Londoners seeking “health, wellness and adventure” are being promised all three sought-after qualities by a new exclusive private members club in South Kensington, west London.

Located in a historic Georgian music hall next to London’s Hyde Park, the South Kensington Club is billed as combining ancient and modern Mediterranean traditions to deliver “unrivalled lifestyle offerings for the body and soul”.

Spread over 25,000 square feet, the club comprises a fully-equipped high-tech gym, three studios for group or private yoga, pilates and other sessions, a restaurant open from breakfast until dinner, juice bar and ‘tea library’ serving specialist teas.

Health and fitness assessments are available to members using VO2 Max and spirometric testing, while osteopaths, acupuncturists and physiotherapists are also on hand to support members.

To inspire travel and adventure, a plush Voyager Club Room is packed full of books, maps and photographs nurturing and inspiring adventure in a plush and comfortable lounge, while the Voyager Club offers monthly lectures by renowned adventurers and pioneers.

Additionally, arriving later this summer will be a Bathhouse, featuring traditional Russian Baynas, a Turkish Hammam and London’s first saltwater Watsu Pool. A range of massage therapies, aquatic body work, cranio sacral therapy, Shiatsu and pressure point therapy will be on offer.

Annual membership for UK residents at the South Kensington Club costs £3,500 and £2,800 for non-UK residents.
