The Bentley 6.75 Midnight Carbon by Breitling

By Paul Joseph

Historical Swiss watch brand Breitling has built on its on-going partnership with British car maker Bentley by designing a limited edition watch that honours the largest ever Bentley engine.

The new addition to the Breitling for Bentley collection is called the Bentley 6.75 Midnight Carbon chronograph, and is named after the famous 6.75 litre engine powering the Bentley Mulsanne.

The entirely black clad watch features a distinctive midnight-hued livery achieved through the use of a special ultra-resistant carbon-based treatment, whilst a specially designed five-spoke motif in the dial offers a nod to Bentley wheels.

Other notable features include black rubber straps with a central matching pattern to the bezel. The strap is fastened using a push button folding clasp made from DLC stainless steel.

The watch’s movement is the COSC certified self-winding caliber 44B which beats at 28,800 VpH and is fitted with 38 jewels.

The main crown of the timepiece is screw locked enabling the water resistance to be maintained at 100 metres.

The Breitling for Bentley 6.75 Midnight Carbon is limited to 1,000 pieces.
