Thompson Miami Beach Hotel Prepares for Opening
Art lovers visiting Miami for next month’s prestigious Art Basel fair will have a lavish new option for where to stay with the up-coming opening of Thompson Miami Beach on 21st November.
Situated in Miami’s Mid-Beach district, one of the area’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the hotel is just moments from the newly opened Pérez Art Museum Miami as well as the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), making it the perfect choice for the international art enthusiasts who will be descending on Miami for the 4-day event.
Billed as offering beach-inspired casual glamour, the hotel is expected to attract a sophisticated crowd seeking the high energy of South Beach but within more refined surroundings.
Notable amenities include a tenth floor rooftop spa set within tranquil gardens, and two diverse dining venues including a Floridian-style brasserie helmed by award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein.
Thompson Miami Beach is located just 20 minutes from Miami International Airport and 45 minutes from Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
The opening will be the seventh in the US for luxury hotel group Thompson, with their existing portfolio including two properties in New York, one in Chicago and one in Hollywood.
Art Basel Miami Beach will take place from December 4th – 7th.
