Platinum Yachts 88m Range
The Platinum 88 semi-custom series presents a range of six 88 metre motor yachts designed by Sam Sorgiovanni and featuring naval architecture by Azure Naval Architects. Constructed with five decks, the modern line is touted as being “a new breed of yachts”.
Amongst the unique design features of the range are specially-fashioned beach platforms, as well as a large pool, sunbathing zone, beach bar and diving centre that emphasise life on the water.
Inside, accommodations can be found for 14 guests in seven suites including six main deck VIP suites, and an upper deck Owner’s suite. General layout of the interior living spaces sees a gym, crew quarters, galley, and tender garage on the lower deck; salon and dining area on the main deck; and upper deck dedicated to the owner.
Exterior living spaces include the bridge deck with spa treatment room, sunbathing zone convertible to a helipad; wheelhouse, office and Captains cabin; and sundeck with ample room for sunbathing, a Jacuzzi, and al fresco dining.
The semi-custom model features a diesel electric propulsion installation that requires only a single deck engine room, allowing for more space to be dedicated towards the luxury interior compared to other of similar length.
The Platinum Yachts 88m line is built to Lloyds Register and MCA classification. The first launch in the six hull series will be motor yacht Triton.
