12 Yachts in 12 Weeks: Edmiston’s Exceptional First Quarter of 2024
International yacht brokerage Edmiston has proudly announced that it has sold 12 yachts in just 12 weeks, ending the first quarter of the year on a highly successful note. This positions the brokerage well ahead of where it was in the same period last year, alongside setting it apart from its worldwide competition.
The yachts that Edmiston lists for sale have the reputation of selling twice as fast as the industry average, something which has been continued over the last three years. The brokerage maintains a 25 percent global market share of all yachts sold in 2024, alongside a 45 percent market share of all vessels in excess of 45m sold globally.
A number of notable yachts make up the 12 vessels that have been sold by Edmiston this year. It has sold Perini Navi’s 56m ROSEHEARTY, the largest sailing yacht sold so far in 2024, alongside 62m RoMa, that sold in just over a month.
MY LOYALTY, from Heesen’s 5000 range, and Amels’ 54m ADDICTION are other spectacular vessels to be sold by Edmiston in the first quarter, both built to exceptionally high standards and radiating sophistication and elegance.
Alex Koersvelt, Commercial Director at Edmiston, commented: ‘Edmiston has built a strong team that works hard and closely together, and genuinely supports each other to achieve success. We maintain our track record of selling inventory twice as fast as the industry average. When you have a conversation with an owner who is looking to sell and they perform their due diligence, this is a compelling rationale for choosing to work with Edmiston.’
Edmiston has kicked off the second quarter if the year with another show-stopping selection of yachts for sale, including Feadship’s iconic vessel SAVANNAH, the first ever hybrid yacht, and Amels’ COME TOGETHER, the first of a new generation of Amels 60 limited editions to boast a hybrid propulsion system.
Alongside being a leader within the brokerage market, Edmiston also offers support on various new build projects, including PROJECT SECRET. Due to be launched to the market in 2025, this Phillippe Briand vessel boasts an exceptional design alongside a hybrid parallel propulsion system.
