42m Planing Yacht RUSH Launched by Baglietto

‘A celebration of speed, high performance, and power’ is how the new 42m planing yacht has been described by the shipyard. Named RUSH by her owner to highlight her prominent fast qualities, the latest Baglietto launch is an impressive addition to its new and improved planing line. 

Strong, sleek lines adorn her contemporary dark grey hull: a stand out feature of the timeless exterior design penned by Francesco Paszkowski. Cleverly utilising glazed surfaces and a dark colour palette, Paszkowski has created an impressive ‘modern, aggressive look’. A condensed, hard top superstructure also adds to the streamlined profile of the new planing yacht. 

A notable feature of RUSH's design is the innovative solution of a downwards opening transom door at her stern, which creates a generous swimming platform and entertaining lounge area. An additional side door also makes launching her tender hassle free. 

On the upper deck, a spacious sky lounge is home to a cinema room as well as a dining and social area, all located not far from the wheelhouse. At the stern and bow, comfortable chill out areas allow RUSH's guests to sunbathe and soak up the scenery. 

A collaboration between Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini inside reveals luxurious finishes throughout a traditional layout.The main deck features a forward full beam master suite with a grand ensuite and vast walk-in wardrobe, a sizeable ‘conversation’ area, dining space and galley. On the lower deck, four guest cabins, two VIP and two twin, make up the comfortable accommodation of 10 total guests. 

Thanks to naval architecture by Plana Design, RUSH can reach a stellar top speed of 28 knots, achieved from three MTU 16V 2000 M96 L engines, and her limited draught of 2.1m allows her to traverse even the shallowest of waters. 

42m RUSH will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival this September. We can’t wait to see her there.
