79m TORO: Turquoise Yachts Largest New Build Sold
Turquoise has announced the sale of its largest new build superyacht, 79m Project TORO, with SuperYachtsMonaco representing the Buyer.
Project TORO is scheduled for delivery in 2023, and the 79m superyacht features both exterior and interior design by the multi award-winning team at Harrison Eidsgaard Design. Toro’s profile is defined by sleek lines, with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. While much is still under wraps, the Harrison-Eidsgaard creation promises to be both striking and elegant.
“We are delighted to have been appointed for the interior and exterior design of Turquoise Yachts’ Project Toro, and are very much looking forward to our collaboration with this outstanding yard,” says Ben Harrison, of Harrison Eidsgaard Design. “She features long flowing exterior lines, an 8.5m pool, and a multitude of unique interior and exterior features.”
Turquoise Yachts founder Mehmet Karabeyoğlu commented “Our strong relationship with SuperYachtsMonaco goes back decades to M/Y Mosaique, and we're very happy to start a new project with our friends there. We thank them for this very speedy and professional transaction and are looking forward to completing this beautiful project and to further collaborations already.”
Turquoise has only recently delivered Ice-Class Blue II, with 3 yachts scheduled for delivery in the next 12 months and 51m S/Y Rainbow II currently under construction. Earlier this month, Turquoise unveiled 84m Project Atlas, bearing strong resemblance to this latest project as another collaboration between the shipyard and Harrison Eidsgaard.
It is certainly a busy and exciting time for the much-celebrated Turkish shipyard, and we look forward to following the progress of all upcoming deliveries.
