By Frances Flannagan

Heesen and Northrop & Johnson have proudly announced that 57m SANTOSHA has been delivered to her new Owners, with Wes Sanford of Northrop & Johnson and James Corts of MarineMax representing the buyer. This stunning vessel boasts exceptional volumes alongside impressive performance capabilities, able to reach a top speed of 22 knots.

The stunning 57m SANTOSHA is the first yacht in Heesen’s 57m Aluminium Class, featuring the Dutch yard’s cutting-edge engineering with a fast displacement hull form and IMO Tier-III engines. She is a highly personalised vessel, crafted in accordance to the tastes of her new Owners.

‘We are honoured to have had the opportunity to build this exceptional yacht for such a wonderful family. Both the Heesen and owner's teams worked tirelessly to bring Santosha to life. I am confident she will set a new standard for Heesen yachts, offering unparalleled comfort and style for those who love to cruise,’ commented Niels Vaessen, CEO of Heesen.

SANTOSHA’s eye-catching exteriors were created by Omega Architects, whilst her interiors were penned by Harrison Eidsgaard.

Her sleek and contemporary profile renders SANTOSHA captivating on the water, boasting a unique scoop-shaped stern and a slightly raked bow attributing her an elongated look. Whilst highly elegant, she is defined by generous volumes onboard, with over 400 square metres of living spaces and a gross tonnage of 780.

12 guests can be accommodated across six beautiful staterooms, including a stunning 63 sqm master cabin that features unmatched panoramic views, connecting her Owner to the surrounding sea environment.

Highlights of SANTOSHA include a 106 sqm sundeck that boasts a large Jacuzzi, sunpads and an alfresco dining area. She also features a 35.8 sqm beach club complete with an open seating area, a bar and access to a generous swim platform.

This yacht is a true testament to versatility, offering extraordinary speed, performance and stability as well as unparalleled luxury and comfort. With a minimal draft and low environmental impact, SANTOSHA is the perfect go-anywhere yacht, ideal for exploring cruising grounds such as the shallow waters of The Bahamas.

Vaessen concluded: ‘We also extend our thanks to MarineMax and Northrop & Johnson for introducing the client. I sincerely thank MCM for their exceptional coordination throughout this beautiful project. Their dedication and expertise have ensured that the entire experience was enjoyable, allowing the clients to fully enjoy the process of creating their dream yacht.’

SANTOSHA will make her world debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in March 2025.
