Amels 60 SATEMI Delivered by Damen Yachting

60m SATEMI is the fourth yacht to be delivered from the Amels Limited Editions design, featuring exterior design by Espen Øino and interiors by Studio Indigo. Her elongated window styling was inspired by the second hull of the Amels 60, whilst her custom interiors are penned by the same studio responsible for the interiors of the first hull.

The Owners were represented by Tassos Papantoniou from Torrance Yachts throughout the sale and the build. Papantoniou has commented on the significant impact that the Owners' hands-on approach has had on the final result: ‘The Owners have been involved with the build for the past 24 months and have been able to set the interior exactly as they want it. They have spared no expense ensuring that their yacht is specified to the very highest standards – everything from the tenders to the dinnerware, it all results in a spectacular outcome.’

A key feature of the Amels 60 design is the focus on delivering unparalleled onboard experiences, which is a significant aspect of SATEMI. The feeling of space is an important element of her design; she boasts the Limited Editions’ signature spacious sundeck, an expansive swim platform and an Owner’s suite that has a folding balcony, his and hers bathrooms and a dressing room.

A unique element of SATEMI is her ability to store a tender of up to 9m on the foredeck, placing an emphasis on how the functionality of space has been optimised to ensure spectacular experiences for her Owners. She can accommodate up to 12 guests across six cabins, served by a crew of 13, making her perfect for both private and charter use. 

Alongside impeccable design features, SATEMI also boasts a diverse range of advanced equipment and technology, including an IMO Tier III-compliant hybrid power and propulsion system. Captain Mattia Dzaja commented: ‘I have reviewed the system specification, and I am impressed. The benefits of this system and the reduced environmental impact are obvious, but what I love most is the additional safety it will provide us when we are cruising. Everyone that is part of the Amels ‘family’ is super passionate. They believe in what they are doing and are led by Rose Damen, someone whose enthusiasm for the brand is evident and is an inspiration to the entire industry. There are currently three Amels 60 superyachts in build, showcasing how this model is rapidly becoming one of the yard’s most popular designs. The Limited Editions not only propose incredible customisation options, but boast a proven technical platform and fast delivery.
