An Insight into the Interior: A Look Inside Bering Yachts’ HEEUS
44m M/Y HEEUS, Bering's flagship B145 vessel, has the luxury quality of a superyacht combined with the technical capabilities of a world-class expedition vessel. Bering Yachts have responded to the eager requests for a look inside HEEUS by revealing photographs of her interiors.
HEEUS is a three-deck yacht, built of steel and aluminium, offering excellent exploration prospects as well as modern-style luxury and comfort. Her space and capabilities are second to none among other boats of this class, made possible due to her 514 metric tons of displacement.
‘As a true flagship of Bering, she is all about comfort, reliability, and capability. Design and materials also play a big role in creating 145,’ says Alexey Mikhailov, President of Bering Yachts. ‘Every boat made by Bering should be in line with the vibe we call the Bering lifestyle. You have to be maximally comfortable and safe while going off the beaten path and reaching breathtaking and exciting destinations – and to stay there while being totally calm and relaxed.’
HEEUS can accommodate up to 12 guests, with five guest suites on the lower deck and a master stateroom on the main deck, a generous 9.7m beam contributing to this. A 9 person crew have separate crew quarters on the lower deck; a spacious area which includes a resting area and four cabins.
In keeping with the ‘Bering Lifestyle’ vibe, relaxing and comforting interiors have been created with the designers and furniture makers' use of fine wood, marble, and other luxurious materials; thoughtful design choices to contribute to the luxury quality of this beautiful vessel.
Ample space aft to carry tenders of up to 8m and additional toys means that HEEUS is built not only for the luxury, but for the expedition. An extensive saloon is located on the main deck, with a second saloon on the upper deck adjacent to the dining area. The beach club is home to a relaxing sauna and spa as well as a fully equipped garage with a fold-down door and a diving compressor.
A hybrid propulsion drive combining electric motors and a pair of Caterpillar diesel engines means that HEEUS is an excellent cruising vessel with the top speed of 15 knots as well as being built with environmentally-oriented intentions. She has a range of over 4000 nautical miles, highlighting her effective nature as an explorer. Comfort has not been overlooked in her architecture, with an advanced stabiliser system as well as increased soundproofing making HEEUS as comfortable as possible.
Bering's next hull is currently under construction, with scheduled delivery for 2024.
