Bering Yachts Launches Custom 37m B121 Motor Yacht

By Emily Dawkins

Marking the second superyacht launch of three in just one week, Turkish shipyard Bering Yachts’ full custom B121 motor yacht has now hit the water. Built as an explorer vessel with a staggering four-deck layout and a plethora of impressive and luxurious features, the 37.43m superyacht serves as a testament to Bering’s outstanding build approach.

Launched from the Bering shipyard in Antalya, Turkey, the full custom B121 stunned onlookers with her exclusive off-white exterior. Described by the yard as ‘delicate’ and ‘elegant’, with a finish, ‘less brutal than our trawler-type expedition boats’, the 37m vessel still packs the usual Bering standards: capable, safe, stable and a true home on the water.

Onboard, the 37m vessel boasts a number of comfortable spaces, with each one dedicated to different needs whilst cruising or at anchor.

The flybridge, for example, is said to be, ‘dedicated to relaxation and fun’, fitted with a lounge area, grill and bar adjacent to a jacuzzi, and the upper deck features both a 31sqm sky lounge and boat storage with a crane at the stern. Uniquely, this sky lounge can also be transformed into a VIP stateroom with two sliding doors resulting in stunning ocean views. She can accommodate eight guests in four cabins on the lower deck, with a spacious master cabin on the main deck which boasts spectacular panoramic windows.

As a custom yacht, the B121 showcases a different approach to leisure: also complete with a spacious beach club, a sauna and a dayhead on the lower deck.

Alexei Mikhailov, Founder of Bering Yachts commented at the launch: ‘This boat is all about style and finesse. Having an owner-only area is important for the client, and this is what we gave him. Just imagine stepping out of the master stateroom to the owner’s deck at the bow, sitting at an open fire, enjoying the sea and the world around!’

The B121 features a steel hull of 37.43m, a 7.54m beam and a maximum draft of 2.05m. Despite not designed for such travels, the B121 is still more than capable of reaching destinations usually only accessible to yachts of a smaller size, with her large 42,700-litre fuel tanks and range of 5,000 nautical miles adding to this capability. She has a maximum speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of 9 knots.

The third launch of three in just one week for Bering Yachts is also expected to be announced soon.
