Blending the Worlds of Yachting & Aviation: Ferretti Group Announces Strategic New Partnership

By Frances Flannagan

Ferretti Group and Flexjet have unveiled a new contractual partnership, in an agreement that connects the luxury worlds of yachting and aviation. It will hugely benefit UHNWIs from across the globe, providing a bespoke range of combined and exclusive solutions alongside a series of exceptional benefits, from VIP access to boat shows to the use of private terminals.

The new agreement between Ferretti Group and Flexjet was signed at the Venice Boat Show 2024, where the Italian shipyard was in attendance as one of the top exhibitors. It presented a fleet of 10 remarkable models, including two world premieres: Custom Line Navetta 38 and Pershing GTX 80.

Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, commented: ‘People who love cruising on Ferretti Group yachts expect standards of absolute excellence when they fly too, which is why I’m so pleased to associate our name with Flexjet, a partner that shares our same passion and desire to offer customers an increasingly rewarding experience. Venice is the ideal showcase to celebrate this important agreement. I have a background in the business jet industry and can confirm that Flexjet is the best partner.’

This partnership will be highly beneficial for UHNWIs around the globe, providing combined and exclusive solutions. Through a united philosophy, this joint commitment will deliver unparalleled luxury, in a constant pursuit across performance, service and design.

Clients of both companies will receive a series of exclusive benefits as a result of this new partnership; for instance, Ferretti Group consumers will be able to access Flexjet’s global fleet of over 300 private jets and helicopters. Enhancing the experience of luxury travel even further, some Ferretti customers will even be able to utilise Flexjet’s private terminals, offering exclusive gateways at significant airports around the world.

These benefits extend to Flexjet’s customers, who will be able to attend prestigious global boat shows as VIPs, have tours of the Riva shipyard and have preferential terms in Riva Brand Experience line products and accessories.

This partnership will involve a joint presence at high profile events, including boat shows, as well as the joint curation of bespoke experiences for clients, such as Ferretti Group’s Private Preview in Monaco. The agreement also aims to create a Riva-inspired interior for one of Flexjet’s flagship aircrafts, the Gulfstream G650.

‘This exciting partnership takes the decades-long expertise and luxury brand power from leaders in two complementary sectors, and combines them to present today’s UHNWI audience with a set of exclusive and unique advantages.’ commented Kenn Ricci, Chairman of Flexjet. ‘I have been a huge admirer of Ferretti Group’s philosophy for many years, and we share a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver a truly exceptional luxury experience. I’m excited to see how this significant strategic alliance can lift our offerings to even greater heights of excellence.’
