Cantiere delle Marche Announces Launch of One-Off 43 Project B2
Just one week after the launch of the Dawin 86 ALEXA, Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has announced that the one-off 43 Project B2 has successfully hit the water. She features the finest elements from the Italian yard’s explorer vessels, with excellent seakeeping capabilities combined with an array of luxurious features, including a large beach club with a sauna and hammam.
Project B2 is a full-custom explorer yacht, featuring exterior lines by Francesco Paszowski that exude an elegant, awe-inspiring beauty. She perfectly blends comfortable living spaces with a robust build and technical reliability, making her the ideal vessel to explore remote and challenging destinations.
‘This one-off project is perfectly aligned with CdM’s approach to explorer yachting. It seamlessly integrates and interprets in an original form the finest elements from CdM’s ranges of semi-custom explorer yachts, Darwin Class, Flexplorer, RJ, and Deep Blue,’ commented Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and CEO of CdM.
She bears a distinctive and recognisable pose on the water, with grand exterior deck spaces characterising her profile and allowing guests to relax across a plethora of alfresco areas. These spaces offer maximum privacy whilst creating the feeling of openness, with her bright interior contributing to this inviting atmosphere.
Guests are accommodated across six suites, with four large cabins on the main deck being almost identical in size and features, and two more guest cabins on the lower deck. Eight crew members can also be accommodated in well-appointed quarters on the lower deck forward, with the Captain’s cabin situated next to the wheelhouse.
A tender and jet skis are stored on the upper deck forward, alongside a chase boat that maximises exploration opportunities for those onboard Project B2. Guests’ comfort is enhanced with a large beach club, sauna and hammam, all positioned next to a large swim platform.
Project B2 boasts excellent seakeeping abilities, with her naval architecture designed by Hydro Tec. She can reach a top speed of 14 knots and has a range of over 5000 nm at 10 knots, meaning that she can sail far and wide with no need to stop to refuel.
Vasco concluded: ‘This project leverages our extensive expertise and the invaluable insights of the Owners, a beautiful family who entrusted us to bring their vision of a new explorer yacht to life, tailored precisely to their specifications.'
