Cecil Wright Announces Sale of PHOENIX 2

At the Monaco Yacht Show 2023, PHOENIX 2 attended as a show-stopping addition to Cecil Wright’s fleet, replacing KISMET (now WHISPER) who was sold just days prior to the event. Fast forward to this year, PHOENIX 2 has now successfully been sold on the same day as WHISPER was: a stunning cyclical moment for Cecil Wright. 

Delivered in 2010 by Lurssen, PHOENIX 2 has undergone extensive refits in 2019 and in 2023/2024. Her most recent refit saw a plethora of operational and aesthetic upgrades, including new hull paint, servicing of her engine, stabiliser, bow and stern thrusters, ensuring that she will be delivered to her next Owner in pristine condition.

Inspired by the original owner’s vision, Winch Design executed an interior masterpiece, paying homage to 1920’s Manhattan, blending Art Deco opulence and modern sophistication throughout her design. Guests aboard PHOENIX 2 are transported back to the roaring twenties with notable features including her bespoke spiral staircase constructed with marble flooring, a sky-scraper themed bar and a cinema inspired by Radio City with a pop-corn machine at the ready.

Capable of accommodating up to 16 guests, PHOENIX 2 offers a range of luxury amenities to provide an unforgettable experience. Whether guests seek restful retreat or a voyage full of adventure, PHOENIX 2 is equipped to ensure an extraordinary time onboard. Boasting a state of the art gym, tranquil health and wellness centre, a gold tiled hammam, beauty salon and extensive storage for toys and tenders, it is no wonder that at the time of her construction, she held the title of the most expensive interiors ever installed on a yacht of her size.
