Construction Update: Feadship’s 100m Project 824’s Hull and Superstructure Joined
Last week, Feadship’s 100m Project 824 emerged from her shed as she began to make the journey North for outfitting. With her hull and superstructure joined along the way, her build is generating much excitement as she reveals herself to be yet another masterpiece by Feadship.
Feadship has had a highly successful year so far, with the launch of Project 823 in March, with a LOA of 67m, and 84m OBSIDIAN in April, the fifth largest launch of 2023. Last week, the shipyard’s newest project, 100m Project 824, emerged from her shed before making her way to Kaag for final outfitting.
Along the way, Project 824 saw her steel hull and aluminium superstructure joined. A significant stage of her construction, this ‘marriage’ showcases her to be another marvellous Feadship creation.
Information about Project 824 has been kept tightly under wraps, so her transit has generated much anticipation for future updates. With her impressive size, we can only expect her to have spectacular features that parallel other Feadship projects; for example, OBSIDIAN boasts not only wonderful eco conscious design features, but also a close connection to the sea, as the interiors and exteriors are blurred in her design with an Aqua Lounge with massive windows below water level, and a bow observation lounge with floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
Superyachts.com would like to congratulate Feadship on this exciting step in Project 824’s journey, and we are looking forward to following her future updates.
