Custom Line Launches Fourth Hull of Flagship 140’ Yacht
A triumph of elegance and design, the fourth Custom Line 140’ has been launched. She boasts a distinctly sporty character, whilst exuding sophistication and elegance with a beautiful interior colour palette of burgundy and bronze.
The Custom Line 140’ is the Italian brand’s planing flagship, defined by a blend of contemporary style and innovative engineering. The latest hull of the 140’ was launched on the 21st of March at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, boasting a sleek and powerful silhouette and a LOA of 42.61m.
The Strategic Product Committee was in charge of her exterior styling, whilst the Ferretti Group Engineering Department handled the interiors, supported by the Custom Line Atelier. The architects and designers worked closely with the client and the product management and production teams to capture the Owner’s exact preferences.
The fourth 140’ is characterised by a sporty nature, with sweeping lines from bow to stern. The use of light-coloured structural surfaces and dark plate glass resulted in a stunning interplay of materials and colours, enhanced by the natural light which dominates every space on board due to floor-to-ceiling windows.
She was inspired by residential architecture, with a timeless elegance and refined ‘Made in Italy’ style characterising both the exterior and interior spaces. Natural materials have been implemented throughout, including Travertino marble, European oakwood and Libeccio leather, elevating the sense of luxury on board.
Pale and muted colours that have been paired with the dominant shades of white and cream are enhanced by a rich palette of burgundy and bronze, creating a warm atmosphere on board that also exudes sophistication. Various frame details have been created with a special metallic paint derived from the car industry, contributing to the luxury, yet sporty, nature of this exceptional yacht.
"The Custom Line 140’ flagship is defined by a harmonious blend of contemporary style and innovative engineering enhanced by Italian design excellence."
