Denison Yachting Announces Sale of Third Reymond Langton-Designed Superyacht
International yacht brokerage Denison Yachting has announced the successful sale of the third hull in Conrad Shipyard’s popular C144S range. Code named Project Moonlight, the 44.3m motor yacht will now become the third vessel to feature the work of an incredible design team comprising Reymond Langton, Nauta Design and Diana Yacht Design. Construction on Project Moonlight has already begun with the anticipated delivery date of May 2025.
With a standout design and build team it comes as no surprise that the industry now welcomes the third hull sale of Poland-based Conrad Shipyard’s C144S series.
Denison Yachting’s Alex G. Clarke, and SuperYachtsMonaco’s Jim Evans were the joint central agents for the sale of Project Moonlight, with YCO introducing the buyer.
Clarke, who works closely with the Conrad brand, commented on the sale: ‘I am extremely proud to announce the successful sale of Conrad C144S Hull #3. The partnership of Denison Yachting, SuperYachtsMonaco, and Conrad Shipyard has now sold both Hull #2 and Hull #3 in the C144S series, which I feel represents not only the best value on the market today but also the best quality. I look forward to working with Mikolaj of Conrad and Jim at SuperYachtsMonaco well into the future as we help solidify Conrad Shipyard as one of the leading shipyards in the world.’
Alongside her Polish build, Project Moonlight will represent a true homage to European shipbuilding, boasting exteriors by British design firm, Reymond Langton, interiors by Italian studio, Nauta Design, and naval architecture by Netherlands-based Diana Yacht Design.
Onboard, she will have a host of fantastic amenities and clever multi-functional zones, likely to offer accommodation for 10 across one owner’s suite and four VIP cabins.
‘The C144S line is already well established as a trendsetter in the world of semi-custom yachts, combining sleek, modern design with unparalleled comfort and style,’ the shipyard stated. ‘The C144S range boasts a modern, yet timelessly stylish look that combines both the incredible harmony of form and the ferocity that comes from the definite lines of the silhouette created by Reymond Langton Design studio...’
In C144S, the ‘S’ stands for straight bow, which, according to the yard, ‘makes her even more superb, sleek and sexy!’
Conrad Shipyard Chairman & CEO Mikolaj Krol shared: ‘We are delighted to see Project Moonlight take shape and look forward to delivering another exceptional yacht to our clients. The C144S line has been compellingly successful, and we are proud to continue building on that success with this third unit. Project Moonlight will also be unique because it will present a completely new-looking interior design. We look forward to delivering another dream superyacht to our clients.’
A firm favourite for the industry, the C144S series has already seen huge success, with the first C144S hull, ACE (pictured above), who was delivered at the end of last year, already award-winning. Hull two of the series was sold in November 2021 and is expected for delivery this year.
Project Moonlight is expected to have a gross tonnage of 497. Her cruising speed is expected to be 11 knots and top speed 13 knots, with a range of 4,000nm at 10 knots. The fourth hull of C144S is due to be listed for sale shortly with Denison Yachting and SuperyachtsMonaco.
Superyachts.com would like to congratulate all parties involved in the sale of Project Moonlight, and we are looking forward to seeing this spectacular build come to life over the coming years.
