Feadship Launches 118m Project 1010

Feadship has launched its largest superyacht to date: 118m Project 1010. The mammoth superyacht hit the water late last night at Feadship’s Makkum facilities, in the Netherlands.

After years of anticipation, Feadship has launched 118m Project 1010. Featuring exterior design by the celebrated Norwegian yacht designer Espen Øino, there has been plenty of industry excitement over what her final design will look like.

Launched into the water in stages due to her sheer size, spectators looked on as a gleaming midnight blue hull appeared from the Feadship outfitting shed in Makkum. From her first appearance, it is believed that the 118m vessel boasts a main deck swimming pool and large, upper deck helipad. It also appears that she has a unique glass pod skylounge.

Details of this new superyacht project remain tightly under wraps, and have done so since her first sighting in 2020 when she was transported to Feadship’s Makkum facilities to begin outfitting after her technical launch.

At 118m Project 1010 marks a significant milestone for the Dutch yard as its largest superyacht launched to date. Superseding the 2018-delivered 110m superyacht ANNA, Project 1010 now takes the number one spot in Feadship’s fleet. Potentially not for long however, as Feadship’s other superyacht new build, Project 821, stands at 118.8m. Currently under construction in the earlier phases of her build, she was seen for the first time at the NMC Nieuw-Lekkerland shipyard in the Netherlands in April, expected for delivery in 2024.

The newly launched Project 1010 is now expected to complete sea trials before her delivery at the end of this year, or early next. We can’t wait to see her at sea.
