Feadship to Unveil Brand-New Concept C at Monaco Yacht Show 2024

With C referencing the symbol for carbon on the periodic table, the basis for diamonds, this new project is a dazzling design which draws upon its namesake for inspiration. Expertly manipulating light to mimic the sparkle of a diamond, Feadship has implemented beautifully executed angles and extensive use of glass to produce an airy and expansive living space.

The design also presents an indistinct separation of decks, allowing for a fluid transition of levels with the centre of the yacht hosting an elevator without walls: a distinctive display of Feadship’s renowned innovation.

C boasts a pair of impressive infinity-edge hexagonal swimming pools, a remarkable lower deck sea lounge, a beautiful beach club with sea-level dining and private duplex owner’s suite. Together, these innovative elements form C’s distinctive and striking profile which is guaranteed to capture the industry’s attention.

She also incorporates the remote bridged plan which was introduced in the shipyard’s 2021 concept design PURE, which has now evolved to pioneer the next generation of Feadship’s leading technological advancements. The command centre provides a fully digital operation and navigation hub, inclusive of state of the art intelligent situational awareness technology, which has also been featured on 102m ULYSSES.

Last year, Feadship announced their concept DUNES which was showcased at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023. In another leap for the company in reaching their goal of exclusively constructing net-zero superyachts by 2030, C is a testament to this eco-friendly target as she is equipped with environmentally conscious technology. 

Exhibiting Feadship’s signature innovation, C is exclusively powered by fuel cells running on methanol, accompanied by lithium-metal batteries, paving the way for the decarbonization of the yachting industry. Developing the technology from the BREATHE concept and SAVANNAH, C is equipped with a fully electric propulsion system with inline contra rotating propellers, which is predicted to be 30 percent more efficient than those with dual shafts, propellers and rudders in yachts of the same size. Additional power can also be passively generated by twin wave-actuated fins attached to the hull aft of the anchors, reinforcing the vessel’s sustainable nature which is of paramount focus in Feadship’s future.
