First Mangusta Oceano 39 Hits the Water

Oceano 39 is the entry level yacht in Mangusta’ Oceano displacement line, and the first hull was launched in front of her Owner and the Mangusta team.

The yacht has been developed and engineered by the Italian shipyard’s in-house Engineering Department, in collaboration with Alberto Mancini and design firm Studio Verme.

A tri-deck superyacht, Oceano 39 boasts an eye-catching modern design with state-of-the-art technology. Mangusta describes the model as a “modern villa on the sea”, thanks to her wide glass surfaces and voluminous guest spaces which punch above their weight for a yacht in this class.

“We are so proud to see the first unit of this innovative new model in the water,” shares Overmarine Group CEO, Maurizio Balducci. “The Mangusta Oceano 39 is a new three-decker characterised by huge glass surfaces, where supporting structures and bulwarks have, conversely, been minimised to offer the closest possible connection with the sea.

“We want to express our gratitude to all those who contributed to building this vessel, further extending the Mangusta Oceano range, which already includes the 44m and 50m models.”

Guests of the Oceano 39 will revel in a large open plan living space on the main and upper decks, with a flowing environment enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows and blended indoor and outdoor spaces. Access to the beach house through the aft area and foldable terraces provides an extension of the sea, where guests can indulge in true privacy.

This unit includes 4 spacious guest cabins on the lower deck and a master suite on the main deck, fitted with a full-automated balcony that can be easily operated by the Owner.

As ever, the Owner has been able to customise the interior to their preferences, with Overmarine’s technical department architects working with the Owner to bring this to life.

Powered by two MTU 12V 2000 M 86 1700 HP engines, the Mangusta Oceano 39 hits a maximum speed of 16 knots and cruises comfortably at 12 knots, with a range of 2,600 nautical miles.
