Five Custom Line Yachts Hit the Water in Just One Month

By Frances Flannagan

Within a month, Custom Line has launched five superyachts: two in the planing line, two in the Navetta line and the new flagship 50m custom vessel. Whilst all yachts embody the Made In Italy excellence that the brand is associated with, each vessel offers something unique that reflects Custom Line’s expertise, from breathtaking colour palettes to extraordinary exteriors.

Taking to the sea at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, five new Custom Line vessels have successfully been launched. On the 8th of June, the Italian yard’s new flagship hit the water: the first all-aluminium yacht in the made-to-measure line. Named M/Y ASANTE, she made her debut in the market segment for metal yachts under 500 GT, in a ceremony attended by her Owners family and Custom Line’s top management and employees.

The twelfth Custom Line Navetta 42 hull was also launched, named M/Y FELICITY. She has a length of 41.8m, featuring a powerful sculpted silhouette, flowing lines and a functional aesthetic. Her design is marked by her generous volumes that maximise interior and exterior areas as well as ensuring total privacy for the Owner and guests,

FELICITY’s interiors feature a chromatic palette that is harmoniously contrasted by vibrant colours such as mint cream and burgundy, a theme that runs throughout the yacht. The sun deck, for example, is illuminated with various shades of yellow, creating an atmosphere of total relaxation. The furnishings on board FELICITY have been constructed using an array of fine materials, including Arabescato Corchia and Carrara marble, creating a refined sense of opulence.

38.36m M/Y GERRY”S FERRY is the eleventh Custom Line 120’ hull to be launched, boasting stylistic purity and bespoke excellence. She has a dynamic personality defined by sleek powerful contours and modern styling, offering spectacular speed, performance and wellbeing opportunities onboard.

Her exteriors and interiors are beautifully connected by large hull windows and floor-to-ceiling glazing on deck, allowing light reflected off of the sea to flood the indoor spaces. The main character traits of GERRY’S FERRY’s interiors are energy and sophistication, amplified by the muted warm colours that pervade her design.

Amongst hazelnut, ebony and bronze, the colour palette is brought to life by the inclusion of a bold red on several freestanding pieces, one of which being the chaise lounge in the Owner’s suite. Like FELICITY, this vessel also features fine and exclusive materials, from Patagonia Original to nubuck leather.

The 22nd Custom Line 106’ also recently entered the water, reflecting a true Made In Italy excellence and the harmonious blend of aesthetics and comfort. This 32.82m yacht features generous spaces and clean, rigorous lines, with a chic interior reflective of the Owner’s personality and taste.

Her colour palette is based upon soft, dense colours such as clay and ice that are balanced by darker nuances of black and bronze, attributing the interiors a depth that enhances the luxurious atmosphere.

The final yacht to be launched in this short time-frame was the 20th hull of the successful Custom Line Navetta 30 line. She is a 28.43m yacht that delivers ambitious volumes whilst exuding lightness and elegance, with avant-garde styling and timeless aesthetics pervading her design.

Her exteriors are characterised by a sleek and dynamic profile, whilst her interiors feature a combination of pale and luminous tones that enhance the light onboard as well as the liveability. The stunning colour palette that spans shell pink and cashmere all the way to cobalt blue is beautifully reflected by elegant decor that is constructed with natural materials, such as rope and natural teak.
