Fourth 40m DOM133 LEE Launched by Baglietto

By Frances Flannagan

Baglietto has had its fourth launch of the year as the Hybrid LEE hits the water. She is the fourth DOM133, designed by Stefano Vafiadis in cooperation with the Owner's designer Tehila Bracha Magyar Shelef.

LEE confirms the success of the line that she belongs to, retaining the core features of the DOM133 series, making her perfect for trans-atlantic cruises. She mounts two Caterpillar C32 engines, resulting in the impressive maximum speed of 17 knots to be reached.

With a draft of 2.10m, LEE is able to cruise very shallow waters, allowing her access to the entire scope of the sea. She has a generous interior volume with a beam of 8.70m, offering a spacious layout rarely found on yachts of her size, arguably one of her main strengths, with the ability to accomodate up to 10 guests and 8 crew.

The main deck is an example of the ways in which LEE's vast areas have been utlilised. It has been designed to ensure a free flow between interior and exterior areas whilst also enhancing an atmosphere which is pleasant and convivial.

The main saloon on the main deck beautifully emphasises the free flow between interior and exterior areas. It contains floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, a panoramic glass staircase and a charming small garden of succulent plants, located under the staircase and protected by the glass slates that support it.

The meticulous and excellent craftsmanship is evidenced by the precious materials used in LEE’s interiors: floors in Carrara marble, tropical woods such as sycamore and stainless steel inserts.

The master cabin is located forward of the main saloon. An admirable feature of this area is a sliding, foldable balcony that extends the cabin outdoors by 2 metres. This impressive visual impact allows for breathtaking views which will be thoroughly enjoyed by the Owner. This addition is not the only design feature that the master cabin can flaunt; the decor has been paid special attention, with mirrors and marbles used extensively for the Owner’s bathroom.

The lower deck is home to the guest accommodation area. It includes two double cabins and a twin cabin. The third VIP cabin, located next to the guest cabin, is very spacious, with a double bed and the ability to fit a small desk and a large TV.

The sky lounge is located on the upper deck, a comfortable and cosy space which has been altered from previous models on the DOM line, with lowered windows and a large bar unit which also serves the outdoor area. The latter contributes to the friendly atmosphere of LEE, with ample space for socialising. An imposing round table, a large bookcase and an extensive L-shaped sofa are all features of this space which grants magnificent views as well as a comfortable feel for the Owner and their guests.

The sun deck, like the upper deck, offers a very generous space. It is fitted with a sliding perforated sunroof making for a ‘convertible’ shading system. This is the perfect area to relax, with a custom bar unit, a panoramic pool and large sunbathing area at the bow. Another unique touch to LEE’s layout is the beach club, which is spread across 2 levels with an infinity pool.

Superyachts.com would like to congratulate Baglietto on LEE’s launch and we are excited to follow her future updates.
