Interiors of Brand New 30XP Model Revealed by Numarine
Ahead of its 2024 launch, Numarine has revealed the interiors of the brand new 30XP model. It is the first Numarine to feature diesel-electric propulsion, a concept which has been mirrored in her beautiful interiors that boast a sustainable, minimalist and functional aesthetic.
Revealed in September 2022 to mark Numarine’s 20th anniversary, the 30XP has already proven popular, with five units sold ahead of the first unit’s launch in April 2024. The shipyard has unveiled the Scandinavian-inspired interiors of the model, which features Can Yalman as the primary designer. Alongside the standard version of the 30XP, an alternate version of the interior will be offered which has been created in collaboration with Ofist Design Studio.
Ömer Malaz, Founder and Chairman of Numarine, commented about the concept behind the interiors: ‘As the 30XP will be our first diesel-electric yacht, we were inspired by a sustainable, Scandinavian design aesthetic which prioritises simplicity, minimalism and functionality. We want to offer the feeling of being at home even when you are far out at sea.’
The 30XP is a flexible vessel, with the exact layout able to be adapted to suit the requirements of the owner. There is ample room for open air dining on both the covered sundeck and the aft deck, making the most of the yacht’s exterior spaces and highlighting the ways in which the design prioritises having a connection with the outdoors. Malaz commented: ‘Having lots of natural light inside and being able to enjoy the surrounding scenery is an integral part of the design. We believe that you need to enjoy being inside the yacht as much as being outdoors.’
Up to 10 guests can be accommodated onboard across five en suite staterooms. The master suite is a highlight of the 30XP, with a private balcony enabling the Owner to enjoy the serenity of the surrounding bays. It also has an office space that features a study desk facing full-size windows, allowing for remote working opportunities accompanined by stunning views.
The connection to the sea is made evident by three fold-down platforms which increase the available deck space in the beach club to 43 sqm. A tender of 6.25m can be housed in a side-loading tender bay, allowing guests to explore the waters surrounding the yacht and to access remote bays.
The 30XP features a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system or a conventional drive train comprising twin 560-hp MAN engines. She has a maximum speed of 13 knots, and an estimated range of 3000 nm at 11 knots.
The Istanbul-based shipyard is currently delivering a dozen yachts per year, with the 30XP increasing the yard’s range to seven models. This includes a proposed new 45XP flagship: a steel and aluminium tri-deck yacht. Numarine is looking to increase its production, the popularity of the 30XP a step in the right direction alongside a new waterside facility set to be operational in the upcoming years.
