ISA Unveils New Gran Turismo 50m Yacht
Following the success of ISA’s Gran Turismo line, featuring 45m, 70m and 80m yachts, ISA has unveiled its new 50m addition. With a streamlined profile and fully balanced volumes, she is bound to follow the success of the other Gran Turismo yachts.
As a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, ISA Yachts have presented the new ISA GT 50m, continuing with its distinctive line. She stands out as a sporty model, with a streamlined profile and straight bow. She is a 499 GT coupè, said to satisfy the most demanding customer in terms of elegance and performance, with stunning design features and a maximum speed of 20 knots.
Her naval architecture is by Palumbo Superyachts while Team for Design, Enrico Gobbi, has penned the interiors and exteriors. Her design is inspired by the world of jet design; the side arches, roll bars and end of the hull being made more tapered.
One of the most notable features of ISA GT 50m is the open stern on three levels, giving space to a large lounge on the top area with an unobstructed panoramic view. The central level is home to a breathtaking glazed swimming pool, almost overflowing above sea level, a highlight of her design.
The absence of visual barriers indoors allows for stunning surrounding views, mirroring the configuration of the exterior areas and showing the entire design to be revolved around becoming immersed in the ocean environment.
The 50m model differs from others in the Gran Turismo line by having a superstructure placed much further aft, allowing for vast and versatile bow space. This showcases the excellent ISA craftsmanship: taking an already successful design and developing it in innovative ways, a large lounge area, a generous sundeck and a second relaxation area created as a result of the differing superstructure.
The colour palette is fresh and elegant, with ocher contrasting the black and in nuance with white alongside beautiful gold detailing. A range of outstanding architectural design elements, including fluted wood and soft and indirect lights, have been implemented, making the interiors as stunning as they are sophisticated.
The owner’s suite is remarkable, located on the main deck with a large wardrobe, lounge area, massage room and private gym. The owner’s cabin also has a panoramic view, provided by two large side windows. The atmosphere of this room is unmatched, with a circular design on the ceiling resembling a skylight. Four double cabins with private bathrooms are located below deck, and a crew of 11 is accommodated into seven cabins.
