ISA Yachts Announces Sale of New 80m Superyacht Project FUTURE
Renowned Italian shipyard and distinguished brand of Palumbo Superyachts, ISA Yachts, has proudly announced the sale of its brand new, cutting-edge 80m ISA Gran Turismo superyacht, aptly named Project FUTURE. Set to be delivered in 2027, this remarkable news comes just over a month since the yard debuted the new GT line; already proven to be a hit on the market.
Sold to a repeat client who has previously enjoyed ISA’s iconic M/Y OKTO for several years, Project FUTURE’s new owner specifically turned to the Italian yard to, ‘look to the future with high hopes’. Placing trust in the craftsmanship of Palumbo Superyachts and the innovation of ISA Yachts, the owner is embarking on a journey to create an entirely new and groundbreaking superyacht. Francesco Fico is representing the owner throughout the construction.
Enrico Gobbi, the mastermind behind Team for Design, has been tasked with developing the exterior and interior design of the new 80m, whilst the experienced team at Palumbo Superyachts will be designing the naval architecture.
‘A long-standing acquaintance and mutual respect that we have been nurturing for years. Indeed, the Owner has always relied on Palumbo Superyachts for the maintenance of his superyacht. This allowed us to create a project tailored to his needs by formulating a new model with high-performance lines that winks at the near future,’ shared the CEO of Palumbo Superyachts, Giuseppe Palumbo. ‘I would like to thank the entire work team, in particular, Francesco Fico as Owner's Representative; Carlo and Enrico of Team For Design for their highly professional commitment and dedication to this project, which has allowed us to significantly shorten development times.’
The ISA GT 80 represents a revolutionary approach to yacht design from the Italian brand, featuring a streamlined coupé style that challenges the conventional boundaries of exterior and interior spaces, resulting in a truly unique and sophisticated aesthetic.
Notably, the hull will stand out against the blues of the ocean, with a thoughtfully crafted colour contrast that presents a steel grey base with charcoal details; carefully complemented by discreet windows that further enhance the project's streamlined appearance.
One of the remarkable features onboard the ISA GT 80 is the sky lounge: strategically placed to maintain the yacht's slender line and accentuate the iconic ISA arch which connects all of the decks seamlessly.
Towards the bow on the main deck, an infinity pool awaits, connected to the owner's cabin through a brilliantly illuminated path, which provides guests with a breathtaking visual spectacle. The owner's cabin itself offers a glasshouse experience, where light-filled pillars vanish to make way for floor-to-ceiling windows that further enhance the feeling between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Project FUTURE can accommodate up to 12 guests across 5 double cabins situated on the main deck, which includes one VIP suite with a lounge, as well as one VIP cabin with twin beds on the lower deck. On the upper deck forward, the Owner's cabin is a grand affair; featuring two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and shower, a vanity area, two wardrobes, and an office. A fully equipped gym is located on the upper deck. Crew quarters are located on the lower deck with a capacity to house up to 18 crew.
With the ISA Gran Turismo 80m setting new standards for sophistication, innovation, and design excellence, Project FUTURE promises to be a game-changer in the world of yacht design. As construction is set to begin, we can eagerly await this remarkable vessel's expected debut in 2027.
