By Frances Flannagan

Mangusta has proudly announced that the third unit of the new Mangusta 165 REV series has officially hit the water. This flagship in the Maxi Open line features exceptional performance capabilities, delivering a maximum speed of 35 knots in unmatched luxury and comfort.

The third Mangusta 165 REV features full-custom interiors by M2 Atelier in collaboration with the shipyard’s design team, whilst her exteriors have been penned by Lobanov Design. The design firm teamed up with the technical department at Overmarine to reinterpret the classic lines of Mangusta open yachts, remodelling the layout and increasing interior volumes.

Being the flagship in the Maxi Open line, the Mangusta 165 REV is known for her unparalleled performance capabilities, boasting a maximum speed of 35 knots. This is facilitated by four Rolls Royce engines, coupled with a Kongsberg Kamewa water-jet propulsion system.

Her interiors and exteriors are visually connected to one another and to the sea, allowing her Owner and guests to become fully immersed in their surroundings. A number of design elements have been implemented to maintain this connection, seen in large floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces in the main deck saloon that are enhanced by two lateral fold-down balconies.

The third unit of the Mangusta 165 REV features six comfortable cabins, including a 92 sqm master stateroom. This lavish area is unparalleled in size in the yacht segment below 499 GT, seamlessly integrated into the hull and exuding elegance.

Those onboard can indulge in the very best of outdoor relaxation, with a lounge located forward with sofas, sunbathing spaces and a jacuzzi. The sundeck boasts a bar area and couches, making it the ideal place for both relaxation and for more convivial moments.

Mangusta has reshaped the aft beach club in the 165 REV, where a sheltered, fully-equipped area can be found in addition to the expansive space. She features a large garage with side access and generous volumes, allowing for the easy handling of a 6m tender and two jet skis.

The sale of the third hull was managed directly by Mangusta Sales Manager Nicolò Strocco, and will be delivered to her Owner at the end of June before spending an idyllic summer cruising the Mediterranean.
