MYS 2022: Equiom Reflect on Obstacles and Highlights of Past Year

By Heather Collier

Equiom Group joined us in the Superyachts.com studio during the Monaco Yacht Show to discuss some of the obstacles and highlights of the past year.

After facing many obstacles at the beginning of the year, Equiom Group go into detail about the support their company has lended to those in need and Ukraine.

"Our initiative went viral. It was good to see all the different yacht companies all come together. It was good to see competitors approach me wanting to help," says Ian Petts, Head of Yachting & Aviation.

"We've really been proud of the Equiom group through this initiative," adds Mark Hagan, VAT Director.

Moving forward, Equiom plan on expanding their involvement in the Middle East, the Netherlands, and on maintaining excellent services for their clients and crew.

"What's really important for Equiom Group going forward is Middle Eastern investment. They have the biggest yachts by size and by volume, so we'd really like to grow that side," says Petts.

"But the most important thing for us is the joint up nature of our services with our clients. We really think we're leading in the industry, particularly with the robust employment of crew."

"We're working with industry liason groups so we can predict any bumps in the road and create a smooth process with our clients," adds Hagan.
