MYS 2022: Feadship Unveils 85m Concept Slice

“We don’t make concepts just to make a dream,” states Tanno Weeda, “we make concepts to challenge each other. We are always thinking forward.”

This is certainly true of Project Slice, revealed during the Monaco Yacht Show. The 85m concept features extensive glass through its centre, flooding the interiors with natural light to enhance a connection with the outside environment.

“Slice is truly amazing,” Tanno reflects. “I cut the boat over the top with glass, there’s the atrium in the middle. The interior gets the light where it needs to be and it’s beautiful.”

“Our clients are really challenging us. Our design team can focus on whatever our clients throw at us.

“What we see is that they throw a lot on the table. A lot of cool ideas, and they love to work on sustainability.”
