MYS 2022: Savannah Yacht Center on Welcoming The Largest Yachts in The World

By Heather Collier

Shari Liu was joined in the Superyachts.com Interview Studio with Jim Berulis, Vice President of Savannah Yacht Center.

Savannah Yacht Center is a deep-water superyacht refit, repair and maintenance facility on the US east coast, and is dedicated to the luxury yachting industry, welcoming some of the largest superyachts in the world.

"When a vessel comes in, we can deal with their very specific needs. We create a place for them to do that. We can accommodate up to 120-130m in our dock," says Berulis.

Berulis delves into what makes SYC stand out from their competitors, and the strong partnerships the shipyard has across Europe for engineering and design.

"What we try and offer first and foremost is great customer service. We try and create an environment that gets the right technicians on the yacht, and partners across Europe for interior work, along with mechanical work and warranty service."

"This is really our first year in full operation. We're now in full service and we're very excited about that. Today the shipyard is full and we expect to stay full throughout next year and beyond," adds Berulis.
