MYS 2023: Arksen on Providing Access to Adventures

By Frances Flannagan

We were delighted to welcome Dominic Byrne, Sales and Marketing Manager at Arksen, to our Interview Studio at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023. He shared the ways in which Arksen provides access to adventures, through a diverse and innovative range of products.

Arksen is a marine adventure company, building ‘the ultimate premium adventure brand’ according to Dominic Byrne, the Sales and Marketing Manager. Its diverse offering of products, which includes yachts, apparel clothing, and high-tech homes, lend themselves to the adventure experiences that Arksen puts an emphasis on, Byrne articulating that: ‘The products that we produce are the vehicles to those experiences’.

Catering to the luxury industry as a whole, the common thread across all aspects of Arksen is expedition. Along with placing a lot of emphasis on sustainability, the company also encourages yacht owners to dedicate usage of their yachts to Oceanic Research, passionate about scientific discovery as founders of ‘10 Percent for the Ocean’ and ‘Yachts for Science.’

Byrne discussed a number of Arksen’s fleet, including its explorer yacht range in which 40 percent of the aluminium used is recyclable.

The company has a number of exciting projects in the works, including a Boat Club which is set to launch in 2024 and will assist in expedition even more for those with a passion for adventure.

Looking to develop globally, Arksen intends to continue building reliable products that help people engage in exploration, Byrne commented: ‘It’s really about access to those adventures and making those adventures come to a reality.’
