MYS 2023: Charter Itinerary on Filling the Void and Staying at the Forefront
Charter Itinerary returned to the Superyachts.com interview studio for the second Monaco Yacht Show in a row. Candice Christiansen, Co-Founder, and Sasha Curti, Head of Sales, discussed the company's exceptional growth, its important place within the industry, as well as what sets Charter Itinerary apart from other companies.
Charter Itinerary has seen a staggering 300 percent growth over the past year, growing from a team of five at last year’s Monaco Yacht Show, to now being a team of twelve. After two years of business, the company offers complete experience to charter brokers and its users in general, enabling the business to be able to guide their clients throughout the entire charter booking process.
Sasha Curti, Head of Sales, commented: ‘We’re happy to keep going in this direction and keep centralising that experience for the end user as well as industry professionals as much as we can.’
When Charter Itinerary started, it was a completely new development within the yachting industry, something that Candice Christiansen, Co-Founder, believed was needed. The company was a success, hitting the right spot within the industry and filling the void. With the increase in competitors, it is demonstrated that the industry is ready for a tech landscape evolution.
At the heart of the company’s ethos, and what helps them remain at the forefront, is the personal approach that it takes with its clients, something which Curti commented on:
‘It’s an industry where from brokers to end client, you need to have a personal relationship with whoever charters the boat, with whoever owns the boat… on our end, it’s important that we relate to the brokers, we relate to that stress, we listen to them. And we evolve the platform as we go along with the tips, with the new suggestions, with the new features that our brokers need to make their lives easier and to make the charter experience for the end user better.’
