MYS 2023: Morley Yachts: From Charter Stars to New and Innovative Ways of Yachting

With ten years experience at Morley Yachts, Senior Broker David Jakabovic perfectly articulates the aspects of the company that continues to drive its success. Jakabovic commented on the benefits of being a boutique brokerage: 

‘I believe it’s the attention and personal approach we give to our clients. I do believe they value it a lot. I also think that it gives a big advantage to clients to have the chance to deal with one broker for their experience in yachting.’

The firm currently has two standout yachts in its charter fleet: CHRISTINA O and ST DAVID. Jakabovic described CHRISTINA O as ‘a star in the charter market’, an  extremely popular charter vessel evidenced by there only being a few weeks left of availability for 2023. A second star is 60m Bennetti ST DAVID, famous for featuring on the series ‘Below Deck’. She is the most successful 60m on the charter market today, showcasing Morley’s show-stopping fleet. 

Jakabovic has a very excited yacht currently listed for sale: Rossinavi’s NO STRESS TWO. She is a 50m hybrid yacht with sporty styling, currently on display at the Monaco Yacht Show. She represents a new era in sustainability, with a hybrid system and a range of 5300 nm, making her perfect for world touring. Key features include a large open beach club with a DJ setup and a 10sqm pool.

Morley Yachts has grown significantly over the recent years, Jakabovic attributing this to the personal attention given to clients, the majority being long-term. With exciting projects in the works, Morley Yachts has a bright future ahead.
