Carron cautioned that while some insurance options may seem appealing due to lower prices, sometimes 30 percent less than standard offerings, these often come with uncertainties regarding coverage. ‘It really is a comprehensive covering,’ Carron noted, underscoring the importance of thorough protection.

The company is developing tailored packages for medical and crew policies that address routine medical needs, recognising that crew members frequently find themselves in different locations without consistent access to care.
