MYS 2024: CEO of Ocibar Singular Marinas Speaks Expansion

By Zoe Coughlan

On day three of the Monaco Yacht Show, Shari Liu welcomed Antonio Zaforteza, CEO of Ocibar Singular Marinas, into the Superyachts.com interview studio to discuss the impressive growth and unique offerings of their marina portfolio.

Since 1999, Ocibar Singular Marinas has evolved from a single location in Menorca to four thriving ports, establishing themselves as a key player in the yachting industry. Zaforteza shared that each marina boasts a variety of offerings to meet the diverse needs of the industry. From Port Adriano, a winter haven for smaller boats, to Port Tarraco, which caters to superyachts ranging from 45 to 160 meters, their extensive portfolio showcases a variety of impressive services, fit to meet every need.

Reflecting on their expansion, Zaforteza commented: 'We provide more solutions to our customers and we can add value.' This commitment to enhancing the yachting experience has been evident throughout Ocibar’s 25-year journey and is a testament to their continued success.

Their latest project, Marina Valencia, is set to establish itself as a premier refit destination for large yachts. Zaforteza outlined plans to transform the marina, stating, 'We are going to transform the marina [...] to a great technical destination for large yachts, in the range of 30 - 80m [...] and we are going to build a quite big and strong refit facility.'

With a clear vision for the future, Ocibar Singular Marinas is poised for continued success in the industry and we at Superyachts.com are excited to see them flourish.
