MYS 2024: Feadship Discusses Concept C and Diamond Anniversaries

On day one of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS), Weeda provided insight into the inspiration behind Concept C, shining a light on how their 75th anniversary was the driving theme throughout the vessel.

Commenting on the anniversary, Weeda stated: ‘we embrace that as a design studio and within Feadship because we always take things like this and see it in a different perspective. So, the 75th anniversary is the diamond anniversary and we have taken the diamond as inspiration for this for the new concept.’

Feadship is consistently establishing itself as a leader of innovation within the superyacht industry, and this year is no exception. Weeda explained that every element of design is integral for a concept, from interior design to naval architecture, before delving into the technology that will provide the future of sustainability, commenting that all features onboard C can be implemented today, as with every Feadship concept.

Weeda also discussed how Feadship is aiming for zero emissions by 2030 and explained that they are on track to meet this target, a fantastic leap into a more sustainable yachting industry. The Dutch yard is constantly developing innovative technology to ensure this becomes a reality.
