MYS 2024: Flisvos Marina Speaks Plans and Projects for Athens
At the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, Shari Liu welcomed Stavros Katsikadis, Managing Director of LAMDA Marina Investments and Flisvos Marina, into the famous Superyachts.com interview studio to discuss its fantastic services, the upcoming Ellinikon Project and exciting ideas for the future.
Established in 2004, Flisvos Marina is the go-to superyacht destination in Greece, conveniently located in the capital Athens. Katsikadis shared with us the range of fantastic services the marina offers: from a helicopter landing area, to management of the marina 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With an impressive array of offerings, clients can be assured a smooth and accommodating stay at Flisovs.
Katsikadis also emphasised the importance of sustainability for the marina: ‘Sustainability is our purpose [...] and we want to expand this model into other developments in our acquisition.’
One notable initiative involves repurposing green waste from the marina’s trees and plants as fertiliser, reflecting a strong commitment to fostering an environmentally conscious future.
The discussion also highlighted LAMDA Marina Investments, currently spearheading the ambitious Ellinikon Project: a transformative investment encompassing 6,000,000 square metres of land, poised to redefine retail and lifestyle in Athens.
Looking ahead, Katsikadis emphasised Greece’s rising prominence in the yachting sector, currently recognized as the leading destination for yachting in the Southeast Mediterranean. To keep pace with this growth, Flisvos Marina plans to enhance its infrastructure, including the introduction of fibre optic connectivity at every berth and the development of an AI model to assist yacht owners with service, docking, and remote information access.
