MYS 2024: SuperTenders Monaco on Bespoke Chase Boats

By Zoe Coughlan

At the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, Shari Liu had the opportunity to speak with Alex Treleani, Co-Founder of SuperTenders Monaco, in the Superyachts.com interview studio. Treleani highlighted that this year's event marks a significant milestone for the company, and discusses the importance of bespoke services within the superyacht industry.

SuperTenders Monaco aims to fill a notable gap in the market by offering fully bespoke options for superyacht tenders, specifically focusing on chase boats and maxi-tenders. Treleani emphasised that superyacht owners today are highly discerning and experienced, seeking a level of customisation that traditional tenders may not have been able to meet. '

Every boat is fully custom to give the owners what they want,' he stated, reinforcing the company's commitment to meeting the desires of its client base.

This approach ensures that every vessel is tailored to the owner's specifications, collaborating with a range of shipyards to construct boats up to 26m, with a production capacity of up to 20 boats annually. Treleani explained that chase boats are often seen as extensions of superyachts, equipped with essential features such as air conditioning and dining areas: luxuries that smaller tenders can't accommodate and thus making their demand ever increasing.

Treleani also discussed that in addition to the convenience of a larger tender with amenities, the demand of regulations around anchoring and other logistical factors attribute to the increasing desire for customised chase boats, positioning SuperTenders Monaco as poised for success.
