MYS 2024: Superyacht Australia on Yachting Down Under
Day two of the Monaco Yacht Show 2024 saw Superyacht Australia at the famous Superyachts.com interview studio. Watch as CEO David Good discussed the latest Australian yachting trends, booming tourism in the country and fantastic membership offered by the company.
David Good joined us on the secind day of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) to discuss the skyrocketing demand for yacht construction in Australia. He commented that supply is currently struggling to meet demand, indicating a fruitful and booming industry in the country which, in turn, is changing the infrastructure of Australia.
The CEO commented: ‘It’s fantastic, though it’s hard for the infrastructure to keep up’ and goes on to explain that this influx is providing employment and expansion opportunities for people and businesses alike throughout the country.
Superyacht Australia also reminisces about the history of the company, highlighting the importance of the 2000 Sydney Olympics in drawing in tourism and putting the country in the forefront of prospective tourists' minds.
He also discusses the most popular destinations to visit in the country, including Kimberley in the North West which is consistently establishing itself as a top pick for tourists and delves into how charters to Indonesia and surrounding destinations facilitate travel to Australia.
